It’s all Erin’s fault with a little blame going to Jamie and Nicolette. They talked me into asking Amanda out. Truthfully, they didn’t have to talk me into it. They did a little research, found out she was single, and talked her into going out with me. I met my lovely fiancée in Kingsburg at her place of employment, Starbucks! For all my Seattle friends this proves good things can come from Starbucks. Fortunately for me Amanda was able to wade through all the guys that ask her out on a daily basis and go out with me. Not to mention first impressions and my wonderful timing, I’ll leave those stories for Amanda to tell. I did plan out a wonderful first date. We went to Jonathan’s in Kingsburg and then to Starbucks. I’m glad she gave me a second chance, though the dinner was good, hanging out at work probably wasn’t the best date ever. She even stuck around when I ditched her for a month to visit my aunt in Niger. She’s the sweetest person I know and it fills my heart with joy knowing she’s in my life.
